According to Sheriff Troy Goodnough's announcement during Saturday night's press conference, a woman drove her automobile into a child's birthday party, killing two children and injuring fifteen others.  An 8-year-old girl and a 5-year-old kid, who were identified as victims at the scene, were among the victims, according to police reports. At about 3 o'clock in the afternoon, a lady reportedly slammed her car into the wall of the Swan Boat Club in Monroe County, Michigan, and then came to a stop 25 feet inside. The fifteen casualties were attended to the first responders who arrived on the site. Ambulances and helicopters whisked nine of them to nearby hospitals where they were treated for critical, maybe fatal injuries.  Three children and six adults were among those who were taken.
