Ryan Wokatsch Wausau Wisconsin Obituary, Ryan R. Wokatsch Death: Ryan R. Wokatsch Dies in Tragic Car Accident

Ryan R. Wokatsch, age 28, of Wausau, Wisconsin, passed away tragically on October 4, 2024, as the result of a devastating car accident. Born on February 18, 1996, Ryan was the beloved son of James and Linda Wokatsch and a cherished brother to his younger sister, Megan. 

His sudden and untimely death has left a deep void in the hearts of his family, friends, and the Wausau community, where he was known for his kindness, enthusiasm for life, and genuine care for others.

Ryan grew up in Wausau, where he attended Wausau West High School, graduating in 2014. Known for his academic excellence and passion for sports, Ryan was an avid soccer player and an active member of the school’s student council. 

His leadership and positive attitude left a lasting impact on his classmates and teachers alike. 

After high school, he pursued a degree in Business Management at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, where he continued to excel academically while fostering close friendships.

Professionally, Ryan worked as a project manager for a local construction firm, where he quickly rose through the ranks due to his work ethic, problem-solving skills, and his ability to inspire and motivate his team. Outside of work, Ryan was passionate about the outdoors. 

Whether it was hiking, camping, or fishing in the Wisconsin Northwoods, he always found solace in nature. 

His infectious smile and warm personality made him the type of person others were naturally drawn to.

Ryan’s family and friends remember him as a kind-hearted individual who always put others first. 

His caring nature, paired with his unwavering sense of humor, made him a source of strength and joy to those around him. 

His passing is a profound loss to the Wausau community, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Ryan is survived by his parents, James and Linda; his sister, Megan; his grandparents; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Funeral services will be held at St. Anne’s Catholic Church on October 10, 2024.
