Dallas, Texas — Super grateful for tonight!!! Right message and in between the right people 🙌🏾✨ Sarah Jakes Roberts you were truly amazing!!!! Message received!!! There are moments in life when something just hits differently, when the words spoken feel like they were meant specifically for you, and tonight was one of those moments.

She said, “people say don’t quit in the process, but WHAT IF you got stripped in the process… I wish I could fight but I don’t have anything to fight for anymore,” and that really stayed with me. Because sometimes, we’re told to keep pushing, to stay strong, to hold on no matter what—but what happens when life takes everything out of you? When you feel like you’ve already given all you have, and there’s nothing left to pull from? That kind of honesty is powerful, and it speaks to a place many people don’t always talk about.

And the truth is, sometimes we can’t change what happened. We can’t undo the loss, the disappointment, the hurt, or the moments that reshaped us in ways we never asked for. There are situations where no amount of effort or faith can rewind time. But what we can do—what we’re reminded of in moments like tonight—is that even when we feel stripped, we’re not empty. There’s still something within us, even if it’s buried under pain, confusion, or exhaustion.

Being in that room, surrounded by the right people, made it even more meaningful. There’s something powerful about shared energy—about being in a space where others are also receiving, reflecting, and growing. It reminds you that you’re not alone in what you feel. That others are also trying to figure things out, trying to rebuild, trying to understand what comes next.

The message wasn’t just about holding on—it was about redefining what strength looks like. Sometimes strength isn’t fighting harder; sometimes it’s allowing yourself to acknowledge that you’re tired. Sometimes it’s letting go of the expectation that you have to have it all together. And sometimes, it’s choosing to start again, even if that starting point feels unfamiliar.

There was also something deeply comforting in the reminder that being “stripped” doesn’t mean being defeated. It can mean being refined, being redirected, or even being prepared for something you can’t yet see. It doesn’t make the process easier, but it gives it purpose. It reframes the pain into something that can eventually lead to growth.

Walking away from tonight, there’s a sense of clarity that wasn’t there before. Not because everything is suddenly figured out, but because the perspective has shifted. It’s a reminder that it’s okay to feel what you feel, to sit with it, and to move forward at your own pace.

Moments like this don’t just pass—they stay with you. They become part of your journey, part of your healing, part of your understanding of yourself. And for that, I’m truly grateful. Tonight was more than just a message—it was a moment of connection, reflection, and quiet transformation.
