Surrey, BC — This is probably one of the hardest posts I have ever had to write. Trying to find the right words to honor someone as special as Julia Plett feels almost impossible, because no amount of words could ever truly capture the kind of person she was or the impact she had on so many lives. But for those who knew and loved our amazing Julia, we want to share that her memorial service information is posted below, so we can all come together to remember her, to support one another, and to celebrate a life that meant so much.
Julia was truly one of the most beautiful people I have ever been blessed to know—inside and out. Her kindness wasn’t something she turned on and off; it was simply who she was. She had a way of making everyone feel seen, heard, and valued. Whether you had known her for years or had just met her, she made you feel like you mattered. That was her gift.
Her smile could light up any room, and her laughter was something you didn’t forget. It had a warmth to it, a sincerity that made you feel at ease instantly. Julia had this incredible ability to bring people together, to create moments of connection that felt genuine and lasting. She didn’t just exist in people’s lives—she enriched them.
