It is with profound sorrow and heavy hearts that we share the devastating news of the untimely passing of our fellow rider, Noah DuPont, during the April 14th Southwick 1 GP J Day Off Road event.
In a tragic accident, Noah, a dedicated C-250 rider, lost control of his dirt bike while competing and tragically succumbed to his injuries at the scene. Despite the immediate response of EMS and their valiant efforts in resuscitation, Noah's life could not be saved.
Noah was more than just a rider; he was a passionate competitor who found pure joy in the thrill of the sport. His presence in the J Day series and other local events illuminated the track, and his absence will be deeply felt by the entire community.
The loss of Noah has left an indelible mark on the hearts of all who knew him, reverberating throughout the tight-knit family of riders in New England and beyond.
During this time of unimaginable grief, our thoughts, prayers, and sincerest condolences are extended to Noah's loved ones. May they find solace and strength in the midst of this unfathomable tragedy, knowing that they are enveloped in the love and support of the riding community.
In honor of Noah's memory and to assist his family during this challenging period, J Day Off Road has initiated a GoFundMe page to alleviate funeral expenses and provide additional support.
Furthermore, plans are underway for an annual memorial ride to be held at Southwick, a fitting tribute to Noah's passion for the sport and his enduring spirit. Together, we will honor his legacy and keep his memory alive in the hearts of riders everywhere.
