On April 27, 2024, MacKenzie was scheduled to marry the man who would become the love of her life, Ian Nash. However, only two days prior to the wedding, MacKenzie abruptly went home to live with the Lord.
She was excited about the prospect of becoming a homemaker and a wife in the future. Mac was an athlete who had aspirations of becoming an occupational therapist for pediatric patients. She enjoys playing sports, especially soccer, listening to live country music, spending time with her friends and family at the pool, and devoting her life to loving and serving Christ.
During her time on Fleming Island, she was a part of the Eleven22 church family. It was there that she and Ian first met, and it was there that they nurtured a lovely connection that God had bestowed upon them.
She had many roles in her life, including being a daughter, a sister, a wife, a friend, and a child of God. As well as being bright, MacKenzie was also kind. All circumstances were handled with grace and integrity, and she radiated joy in every single one of them. She was a quirky ball of light when she opened up to you, despite the fact that she experienced moments of shyness.
Mackenzie would have wanted no one to dwell on her passing and be in a state of mourning; rather, people should celebrate her by making the most of tomorrow with the people they care about, by devoting some time to become engaged with their local church, and by delving deeply into the Bible.
In addition to her parents, James and Shari Sleeper, her older sister, Delaney Hefner, who was married to Corey Hefner, and her younger brother, Keegan Sleeper, she was also survived by her fiancée, Ian Nash. They would appreciate it if you would continue to keep them in your prayers and thoughts.
