Born on February 19, 1997, Townes stood tall at six foot five, dominating the court as a small forward for the Bryant Bulldogs in the NCAA.

On December 12, 2018, he etched his name into the record books, setting a career-high in points with a dazzling 34-point performance against the Hartford Hawks, despite his team's loss. 

His prowess extended beyond scoring, as evidenced by his career-high in rebounds, grabbing 11 boards in a game against the Mount St. Mary's Mountaineers on January 10, 2019.
