On Friday night, April 26th, 2024, tragedy struck on the 3000 block of Bianca Way, shattering the life of Justin Johnson, a young man who had immigrated from Jamaica and was striving to build a future in the United States.  Despite his aspirations, Justin's dreams were cruelly shattered by a harrowing ordeal of hazing inflicted upon him by a group of teenage boys from Central Dauphin High School. Justin, like any newcomer to a school, sought camaraderie and acceptance, especially among those preparing for football tryouts. Tragically, the boys he attempted to befriend harbored racist sentiments, subjecting him to relentless bullying and taunts solely based on the color of his skin.  Instead of finding companionship, Justin found himself isolated and tormented by those he had hoped to call friends. On April 27, 2024, MacKenzie was scheduled to marry the man who would become the love of her life, Ian Nash. However, only two days prior to the wedding, MacKenzie abruptly went home to live with the Lord. She was excited about the prospect of becoming a homemaker and a wife in the future. Mac was an athlete who had aspirations of becoming an occupational therapist for pediatric patients. She enjoys playing sports, especially soccer, listening to live country music, spending time with her friends and family at the pool, and devoting her life to loving and serving Christ.  During her time on Fleming Island, she was a part of the Eleven22 church family. Dr. Bill Hart-Davidson, who served as the Associate Dean of Graduate Studies in the College of Arts and Letters at Michigan State University, passed away today as a result of a cardiac episode that occurred while he was participating in a spring run.
