Lauren Ramey, 34, of Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on October 5, 2024, leaving her family, friends, and colleagues in deep mourning. Lauren, a valued employee at C.H. Robinson, was known for her infectious energy, compassion, and dedication to her work and the people she cared about. Her sudden death has sent shockwaves through both her professional and personal communities, as she was beloved by all who knew her.

Born on November 18, 1989, Lauren grew up in a small town in Ohio, where she was surrounded by family and friends who loved her dearly. 

She attended high school in Columbus, where she excelled academically and participated in various extracurricular activities, including student council and the school’s soccer team. 

Lauren’s natural leadership abilities and her desire to help others made her a role model for many of her peers.

Lauren went on to attend Ohio State University, where she earned her degree in Business Administration. 

Her strong work ethic and love for logistics led her to a successful career at C.H. Robinson, one of the largest third-party logistics providers in the world. 

As a key member of the company’s operations team, Lauren was known for her innovative problem-solving, ability to handle complex projects, and her positive attitude that lifted the spirits of those around her. 

Her colleagues admired her professionalism, her attention to detail, and her commitment to excellence.

Outside of work, Lauren was a devoted daughter, sister, and friend. She had a close-knit group of friends who often referred to her as the “glue” that held everyone together. 

Lauren loved spending time outdoors, especially hiking and kayaking. She was also an avid traveler, always seeking new adventures and making memories with those she loved.

Lauren’s passing leaves a deep void in the hearts of her family, friends, and colleagues. 

She is survived by her parents, Michael and Diane Ramey, her brother, Joshua, and a large circle of friends who will forever cherish her memory. 

Funeral services will be held on October 12, 2024, in Columbus, Ohio, as the community gathers to remember and honor the life of a remarkable young woman who left an indelible mark on everyone she met.
